My condolences to the entire family. I knew your mother when she lived in Montreal. We both lived on Mountain Sights and went to Van Horne school together. Our friendship endured many years up until her move to Toronto, although we did continue to see each other from time to time in Florida. Whenever we saw each other we enjoyed reminiscing about our families and our younger years.

My sincere condolences to the Polisuk family on your loss. Evelyn’s children and grandchildren meant everything to her. For the 24 years we shared at Skyrise we had a very special connection. With our husbands we enjoyed bridge, condo casino trips, shows, lunches and dinners out. Winters in Florida were a treat . We were there for each other through the good times and the bad and hopefully gave one another the support we needed. It is truly difficult to say goodbye to such a dear friend.

Dear Michael, Maya, Richard, Alena and family, Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Evelyn. She was an exceptionally devoted wife to her late husband, Gerry and tried to make his life as comfortable as possible while he was at Baycrest. We spent many hours together in the Apotex while my husband was a resident there as well. She was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren and their achievements. Her face lit up when she talked about them. Evelyn was a kind, loyal, sincere and supportive friend and I will always cherish our friendship. May she rest in peace and may her memory be a blessing. We became friends and met each others families when they came to visit at Baycrest. Dear Michael & Maya, I am terribly sorry for the loss of Michael’s mother. To have a son as kind and thoughtful as Michael, Evelyn, surely, was a terrific mother. In the small Montreal world, from which we both left for greener pastures, it was nice to meet your mother several years ago and learn that she and my father used to work together in the shmata business. Much of the past year has been challenging for your mom and your family. I know that you have many wonderful lifelong memories of your mothermother-in-law which will be a blessing and provide comfort to you. Please take good care of yourselves.
