Dear Monty and Roslyn, We send you our sincere condolences on the passing of Monty''s Mom. Losing a parent is a great loss no matter what age one has lived to. Hoping your loving memories sustain you at this sad time.

(For My Mother - I am Michael Kalchman) Gloria was part of the crew that welcomed my mother to Sunrise. I met Gloria just a few times, but my mom always spoke of her table friends, including Gloria. The kindness and welcoming approach to including my mother into the group I’m sure was an indication of Gloria’s warmth. Wishing you have great memories and stories to share about Gloria.

Dear Family of Gloria Caplan, I was deeply saddened to hear of Gloria’s passing. I had the privilege of knowing her for over seven years, and during that time she became much more than someone I knew — she became a dear friend. Gloria was a truly kind and loving woman. Even at 94, she had a wonderful sense of humor and a warm spirit that made everyone around her feel special. We shared many good memories together, from our phone calls filled with conversation, joking, and “yenta” moments, to the small favors she would ask that always came with a smile — including the time she sent me out for alcohol-free mouthwash and I ended up in trouble with my supervisor for helping her. It’s a memory I will always smile about. I will miss our talks, her laughter, and the friendship we shared. Please know that Gloria touched my life in a meaningful way, and I will remember her with great affection. May her memory be a blessing, and may you find comfort in knowing how much she was loved and appreciated. With sincere sympathy and heartfelt condolence, Lutfia B (concierge at Sunrise Of Thornhill)

Dear Caplan Family. I want to extend my sincere condolences. I have known Gloria since I was a kid as she was a good friend of my mom''s. My mom has been gone for 10 years - but Gloria was always included in our family BBQ''s because we loved her. She had such a good sense of humour and was a lot of fun. I loved it when my mom and her dressed up for Haloween as adults and went to some of the neighbours. You will be sadly missed.
