We are deeply sorry for the loss of this beautiful soul. We enjoyed any opportunity we had to interact with Fran and she truly felt like close family to all of us. We will remember and cherish her forever. Sending you love and the strength during this difficult time.

Dear Eric and Samantha. There are few words Marla and I can offer to console you both during this very difficult time. But suffice to know we are thinking of you, your families, and close friends, on the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother. As long time residents of Marchwood Drive, we have been blessed with some wonderful and caring neighbours, such as your beloved mother and father. We are saddened by her premature passing, and we will
miss her ever present smile and comforting words of encouragements during our walkabouts. May her name be a blessing to you and all who loved and appreciated her goodwill.

Dear Eric, Jess, Samantha and Family
We are so dearly saddened of Fran’s passing. She was such a great neighbour and friend. We met Fran and Paul when we first moved in in 2013. Fast forward all these years, she has watched our kids grow up. We would have our morning chats quite often and discuss life and family. Fran was such a wonderful, caring, thoughtful, warm, and modest person. She was logical, independent and hard working.
She always chatted and boasted about her cherished grandkids, played with them on the driveway and discussed life’s moments, both good and bad.
She was a strong woman who endured a challenging recent past. From the sounds of everything, she will be in a better place not having to live being dependent upon others in a hospital facility setting.
We will truly miss her deeply and hope that over time your hearts will mend from this incredible loss.
May her memory be of a blessing to all that knew her.

Eric and Samanatha, I remember when we first moved on Marchwood Dr. We liked our house, thought the area was great, but loved the neighbours. Your parents were one of the first neighbours to welcome us with open hearts and minds. I remember calling your dad whenever I had a jewish question (both Angie and I are Catholic - Italians). Your dad was a jem and your mom was a beautiful, sparkling diamond. She was so strong willed, funny and generous. We are so saddned by the unfolding events in Fran''s last several months. Know that her spirit and memory will last forever. Life throws us many curves, some people strike out and others hit a home run - how lucky were you to have been raised by two awesome parents. We leave you with an anonymous poem:
Imagine you are standing on a seashore,
a ship at your side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. You watch her until she hangs like a speck where sea and sky meet, and as she disappears , someone exclaims: there, she''s gone. Gone where? Gone from your sight, that''s all. She is just as large in hull and mast and spar as when she left your side. And just at that moment when someone at your side says, she''s gone, there are other eyes watching for her coming and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, here she comes. LIfe itself is eternal!
Our deepest sympathy, with much love,
Angie & Laura

I only knew Fran for a short period of time after I started working at Urbantech, but even in that brief time, it was clear that she was a beacon of wisdom and positivity. She always encouraged and guided me with kind words and a contagious smile. Every time I spoke with her, she shared beautiful stories about her family, which spoke volumes about who she was. I believe she was truly the kind of woman who made this world a better place. I will always carry her guidance and the joy she brought into every conversation with me. My condolences to her family.

Dear Eric, Jess, Samantha and Family, Fran was our next door neighbour and good friend for over 29 years. She was an extremely wise, funny & special woman who had a huge personality! We loved watching her pride & sheer enjoyment as she played with her grandchildren and hosted many family meals. A better neighbour & friend one could not ask for. The past number of months have been heartbreaking for us knowing what she was enduring. She was a wonderful mother which has been evident in how you have advocated for her during this tragic situation. We are so very sorry for your loss and wish you the strength to cope during this very sad and difficult time. May her memory be for a blessing. We miss her tremendously.

Dear Samantha and Eric,
I am so very sorry to hear about Fran’s passing. Fran was the first colleague I ever met at Urbantech and, over time, became something of my “work-mom.” She was someone I could talk to endlessly and confide in, and I will always cherish the wisdom she so generously shared.
The way she spoke about her children and grandchildren was truly inspirational, and I can only hope to one day be as proud of my family as she was of hers. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her impact will remain forever.
May her memory be a blessing, and wishing you long life.
