I’m so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Mollie was a good friend to my mom and I know that she and Jack spent some fun times with Budgie and Joe back in the day. She was an integral part of our summers at Bayview Beach and I always appreciated her no-nonsense attitude. I will treasure some of the recipes she shared with me over the years and miss her sparkling wit and abundant kindness.

I am so sad to hear of Molly''s passing. The lovely picture shows Molly''s physical beauty, but the beauty I will always remember was her kindness and warmth. I also remember how much I enjoyed our conversations at the Bloomberg gatherings.
Besides being a gourmet cook and expert baker, Molly also knew the best restaurants in what seemed like every city and country around the world and my late husband and I always relied on her recommendations wherever we went. She was never wrong.
One of my favourite Molly stories occurred several decades ago when she patiently tried her best to teach me how to make a Passover sponge cake, but I was unquestionably the worst student imaginable. After baking 4 cakes in a row (10 eggs each - do the math!), with every one of them totally collapsing within mere minutes, Molly categorically refused to give me any more instructions and despite my refusals, insisted that I take home one of her picture perfect cakes. I still keep a photo in my kitchen of my holding her exquisite 10 inch high cake in one hand and my pathetic 2 inch deflated cake in the other as a vivid reminder to myself never to attempt to bake anything ever again....and I haven''t.
My heartfelt condolences to the entire family on your loss. May your wonderful memories be a comfort in the days ahead.

Dear Elaine, Debbie, Cindy, Stephanie and families: We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. Molly and Jack were such good friends to our parents, starting during their high school years, through their young married lives and then at Bayview Beach. We remember all sorts of stories from their younger days, including basketball, bowling and dancing in the rain. How fortunate were we all to end up on Bayview Beach together. Your Mom was always so warm and kind to all of us at the cottage. Once in a while, she would even cook cabbage rolls for our Dad as he found her’s to be so delicious. That was a great treat for him. We will always remember your parents with great fondness. May your Mother’s memory be a blessing to you and to all who knew her.
