My deepest sympathies to all of Tobe''s family. Tobe and I were distant cousins and I was fond of her even though we did not know each other well as I would have liked. In recent years we would run into each other at opera movies and concerts where I enjoyed our all too brief conversations. She was a lovely and caring person. My thoughts are with you.

We remained dear friends since Oakwood days, U of T, raising our families in close proximity, and even welcoming children,grandchildren and great-grandchildren together. There are so many stories to tell and to cherish! Tobe was a bright, courageous woman, who always will remain in our thoughts. We hope our families will always be in touch. I’m so sorry for your loss. Tobe and my mother were long time friends and my mother always cherished their friendship. I have so many memories of the time our families spent together, especially in the house on Newgate rd. Please accept my condolences.

How sad I am for you all that your mother and bubbe has left her earthly home. Tho I never met Tobe, I look at that beautiful punim and see the woman who gave me my friend, Terry, and who lived an extraordinary life, not all of her making. That she was able to leave peacefully was a blessing for her and you all. May stories of love be told as you sit shiva. And may Tobe’s memory be ever for a blessing. Much love.
