I am deeply saddened to hear of Julie’s passing. She was truly a lovely person, and I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her during my time as her supervisor. She left a lasting impression on me, one of my favorite memories of her giving the COO of the resort trouble for parking some where he should not have, then proceeding to tell him about improvements that could be made to enhance guest experiences. We were all laughing by the end of the conversation as she sure had a lot of gumption and was never afraid to say what needed to be said. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. Let me know how I can be of support to you and the family, Bruce. Sam

Dear Bruce, I am saddened by the passing of Julie. I met Julie once at the Christmas party and She reminded me that she taught you everything you know about being a Welcome Ambassador. I know she loved the role as you do so in a way we owe alot to Julie for setting a standard of excellence welcoming guests at Blue. My prayers are with you Bruce.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Julie’s passing. We were childhood friends at Wilmington Public School. Julie’s quick wit and humour made her a joy to be with as well as her big heart! As adults we lived close to by to one another and often bumped into each other and reminisced about the good old days. May her memory be for a blessing. Gone far too soon.
So sorry for your loss.

Dear Bruce
Such sad news that you shared today! While we have not seen Julie in quite some time, it was always good to visit with Bruce at his ''station'' at Blue Mountain while working with Snowhawks during the ski season and catch up and to know how Julie was doing.
May only good memories sustain you and your family during these initial difficult moments and forever. May Julie''s memory be for a blessing!

Dear Bruce, Jamie, Jessica (Josh), Gary (Diane), Scott (Sandi) and extended family. As you know, Julie and I have known each other since 3 weeks after her birth until her sudden departure (to join with her Mom & Dad), after 67 years of friendship. Julie had her medical struggles from her teen years, and always, through the ups and downs kept her positive outlook and did what she could. She always thought of others before herself, and truly had her special opinions over many special talks we had.
Even more recently, when I truly needed my Juliemy ''sister-from- another-mother'', and she was truly having a very difficult time, she offered to come and stay with me to help me out. Julie was caring, selfless, beautiful and truly enjoyed her life in Collingwood (after all, I encouraged her to move therehere).
We always kept in touch through cell texts or audio messages, especially when it was difficult to get together; and the light from the bond we shared never dimmed. In our early years we went to Camp New Moon together, and on my many sleepovers at her home, special memories are held close as we enjoyed staying up late while her brother, Gary, was babysitting and teaching us to play cards, enjoying late night snacks.
As adults, we started having our families close together, and my daughter was 3 weeks older than Jessi. The kids were friends for many years and enjoyed many swim times at my parents'' pool.
Julie, you will always be my special sister, & I truly hope you are no longer in pain. I know you will be watching over me and sending me special messages from heaven, as you will be doing for Bruce, your Jamie, Jessi and grandkids, and of course, Bear. The loss is so immeasurable and I truly hope everyone, her loved ones, hold all her special life moments close to their hearts. Sending our love and condolences.

Dear Scot, Gary, Bruce, Jamie and Jessi. The first time I saw Julie was when Renalee and Stuart brought her as a one month old to the Sunday garden party after my Bar Mitzvah. This was a chance for the whole family to meet her. Family from then on was always important to her. We saw Julie over the years as she struggled with multiple health issues. She never complained or let on how difficult life was for her but instead did the best she could. We were shocked to hear the very sad news today and know she will be missed by many. We send our love and hope that you will be comforted remembering all the good times you shared.
