The Benjamin Family

John Manna December 29, 2025 02:09 PM
I have not seen or heard of Larry in over 60 years. But I do remember him and his parents at the store at Bellwoods and Dundas. The family were wonderful neighbours and had a great influence on me those many years ago. Good people are remembered for a long time. As a 10 year old boy, I once stole a 10 cent chocolate bar from “Sam” and to this day have never forgiven myself. If there is a better place after life may the family be reunited for ever.

The sadness I feel knowing I will never see my Larry Marr the movie star again is so heavy. Larry was my boss and friend for over 25 years. Whenever he came into the office I was soo happy because he was just the nicest, kindest person and when i would hear his laugh it always made me smile. He adored his family sooo much. Every milestone his children or grandchildren reached we all heard about it because you were all his pride and joy! Larry held such a special place in my heart and I will miss him more than you know. My deepest condolences to the entire Marr family for this huge loss!

In memory of Larry Marr Larry Marr will be remembered for his wisdom and steady presence. I always enjoyed our in-depth conversations about the stock market, his insights were thoughtful, and he had a patient wave of explaining complex things. He was a kind and perceptive man. Over the 25 years I had the privilege of knowing Larry our paths crossed may be a dozen times yet the impression he left was endearing. He was a man who carried a sense of quiet strength and calm. He was a kind of person who listened more than he spoke, and whose a few words often carried significant weight. He lived the life that clearly centred on family, evident in the love and respect, reflected in Chantal and Lauren. His kindness, his wisdom, his gentle spirit was unstable, even in brief encounters. My sincere condolences to Lauren Chantal, and all of his family. Respectfully Richard, Mya 💫 , Emma, Noah, and Diane

Larry and I go back many years growing up in the Kensingston Market district. We tossed back quite a few, and spent many weekends driving off to Buffalo to watch our favorite football team. Larry gave ne lots of advise when it cam to playing the stock market, and most of his recommendations paid off big. I''m going to miss one of my oldest friends. If it''s not too cold, I''ll come to the service on Sunday. If not, I''ll see you guys at the Shiva. Let me know what I can bring.
