SHAPERO, Fern - Peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Fern Shapero, devoted daughter of Libby and the late Sol Taub. Beloved wife of Arthur. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Richard and Melissa, Elliot and Johanna, and Rebecca. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Cheryl Lewis, Arlene Rosenberg and David Shlagbaum, Stephen and Kelly Taub, Shelly and Irv Pludwinski. Devoted grandmother of Samantha, Molly, Jacob, Joey and Ezra. She will be dearly missed by all of her nieces and nephews, as well as her best friends Katy and Sharyn. Thank you to the caregivers and staff on the 3rd floor at Sunrise who cared for and loved her for the past eight years.
