    Notice:
BANK, Allan - On Saturday, January 17, 2026 in his 93rd year, after a long and brave journey with Alzheimer's, we are heartbroken by the passing of our dearly loved, cherished and admired man of steel, our own superman, our father, Allan Bank. Our remarkable father came to Canada after miraculously surviving the Holocaust. From nothing, he built a successful business and a loving family. He was a friend, role model and father figure to many. With a genuine and contagious love of life, his generosity knew no bounds. He was so brave and so wise. His life had a heartbreaking beginning and ending but the middle was beautiful. We know you left us dad to be with mom, your beshert, for your 70th wedding anniversary.

Allan Bank, beloved husband of the late Anne Bank. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his treasured children, Tammy and Brian, Mark and Debbie, Barry, Donna (z"l), and Jill. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Henry and Barbara, and the late Toba and Sonya Bank who both perished in the Holocaust. Devoted grandfather of Mitch and Olivia, Shawn and Leora, Jackie and Eden, Matt and Elana, Sara and Jordan, Melissa and Mitch, Erin and Steve, Jake, and Sam, and his 16 great- grandchildren - Chaim, Lev, Dovi, Liam, Edyn, Shai, Sunny, Dylan, Teddy, Charlie, Spencer, Leo, Shane, Nora, Katie, and Oliver. Memorial donations may be made to the Anne and Allan Bank Centre For Clinical Research c/o The Baycrest Foundation, www.baycrestfoundation.org 416-785-2875. Our heartfelt thanks to our dad's devoted and loving caregiver, Lota.
