KATZ, Michael - On Thursday, January 14, 2026 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Michael, beloved husband of Barb Etlin. Cherished nephew of Paula Nussbaum Brother-in-law of David Etlin and uncle of Lauren Etlin.

Michael was an extraordinary man who brought joy and laughter to everyone he met. He was the best husband ever: kind, supportive of my writing, willing to fly to boring writing conferences with me (although Maui was more interesting). His last memory before he went to eternal sleep was probably about the video he had just watched of us flying over Maui in a helicopter.
