    Notice:
ZUCKER, Carolyn - With broken hearts we are devastated to announce the passing of our dear Carolyn on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, as a result of a brief illness. Dearly beloved wife of Larry Farkas and much loved daughter of Dr. Bernard and Carole Zucker. Carolyn was predeceased by her mother, Doreen. Carolyn is the younger sister of Janet and Ken Futerman and aunt to her nieces, Shayna and Laurel. Larry's brother, Jeff and Peta, Sam and Debbie and his sister, Marilyn, cared for Carolyn deeply. Carolyn was loved and will be very missed by her siblings Randy Noble, Lori Noble, Tracey and Yidi Moseson, and Debra Stone and all of their children. We want to thank Laura who gave such tender loving care to Carolyn while she was in the hospital. Carolyn was treasured by her Aunt Norma and her late uncle Ken Borden, the late Faye and Moishe Leibtag, and Irving Zucker. Carolyn was loved by her numerous cousins from the Leibtag, Zucker, Maker, Bennett, Rosenberg and Borden families. Carolyn graduated from Johnson and Wales University Culinary school in Rhode Island and was a very talented chef. She was also passionate about cottage life. She was a proficient skier in Collingwood and in her youth, loved to waterski in Georgian Bay. Carolyn adored and loved her father, Bernie, to no end. Carolyn was a bright light in our lives. She was great company and a lot of fun. Her big wide smile was contagious and welcoming to everybody she met. Carolyn had a great sense of humour and a hearty laugh. she loved to dance and was the life of the party. Larry was the love of her life. Together, they created their family with the love of their dogs, Shamus, Baker, and now Charlie. Our hearts are broken. May her memory always be for a blessing.
