Shiva visits are welcome Wednesday following the interment from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, continuing Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Evening services will be held at 7:30 pm. Shiva visits will conclude on Thursday evening, January 8th.

David Serkin passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4th, 2026 after a brief illness. True to form, he took his last breath listening to his favourite opera aria. David is survived by his loving wife Marsha, with whom he shared 30 wonderful years together. Loving father of Natalie and Naomi and step-father to Stacey (Stuart), Ian (Christie), and Jordan. Grandfather to Tanner, Piper, Benjamin, Zachary, Madeline and Lennon. Cherished brother of Beverly Figgis. He lived a vibrant life enriched by the arts and always filled with humour. He will be sadly missed by all. Special thank you to Dani, who provided wonderful care. Memorial donations may be made to the Kimel Family Centre at Baycrest, 416-785-2875.
